The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 4862 (Rep. Wozniak) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported HB 5043 (S-1) (Rep. Vaupel) with recommendation and immediate effect. 3. Reported HB 5044 (Rep. Garrett) with recommendation and immediate effect. 4. Testimony regarding SB 612 (Sen. VanderWall). The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:02 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair VanderWall, Sen.(s) Bizon, Johnson, LaSata, Theis, Brinks, Hertel, Santana, and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the meeting minutes from January 23, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding HB 4862: Tim Greimel, AFSCME Council 25 – Support The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bizon to report HB 4862 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair VanderWall, Sen.(s) Bizon, Johnson, LaSata, Theis, Brinks, Hertel, Santana, and Wojno Nays: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for HB 4862. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. Page 1 of 3 The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the (S-1) version of HB 5043. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bizon to report the (S-1) version of HB 5043 to the floor with recommendation that it pass.
