BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-0793 FAX: (517) 373-5607 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 18, 2020 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Regulatory Reform was scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 3:00 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Removed from agenda SB 665 (Sen. Victory). 2. Testimony regarding SB 660 (Sen. Hollier). The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, VanderWall, Zorn, Moss, Polehanki and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the meeting minutes from February 11, 2020. Without objection the minutes were adopted. The Chair announced that SB 665 was removed from the days agenda. The Chair invited Sen. Hollier to summarize SB 660. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 660: Curtis Hackwell II, Michigan Student Athletics – Support Warren Stanfield, Citizen – Support Jerold King, Sound Mind Sound Body – Support Trevon Claybourne, Sound Mind Sound Body - Support There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
