The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) on the 2019 Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) Legislative Report 2. Presentation from Michigan Farm Bureau on March is Reading Month The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:06 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Daley, Sen.(s) Victory, Lauwers, Ananich and Polehanki, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Victory to adopt the meeting minutes from January 16, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited James Johnson and Joe Kaplinsky with the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to testify on the 2019 Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) Legislative Report. The Chair Invited Rebecca Park from Michigan Farm Bureau to present on March is Reading Month There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
