Gast Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding HB 5412 (Rep. Vaupel). 2. Testimony regarding HB 5413 (Rep. Wozniak). 3. Testimony regarding HB 5414 (Rep. Green). 4. Testimony regarding HB 5415 (Rep. Liberati). 5. Testimony regarding HB 5416 (Rep. Whiteford). The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair VanderWall, Sen.(s) Bizon, Johnson, LaSata, Theis, Brinks, Hertel, Santana, and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bizon to adopt the meeting minutes from May 20, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Rep. Vaupel to summarize HB 5412 – HB 5416. The Chair invited Rep. Green to summarize HB 5414. The Chair invited Rep. Whiteford to summarize HB 5416. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding HB 5412 – HB 5416: Sam Champagne and Courtney Stevens, Henry Ford Health System – Support Gina Ambrogio, The Children's Center – Support Page 1 of 2 Dr. William Morrone, CMCMH and the 35th District Court – Support The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding HB 5412 – HB 5416: Kevin McKinney, Michigan Osteopathic Association – Support Paul Tarr, Team Wellness – Support Emily Schwarzkopf, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services – Support Heather Nicholoff, Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners – Support AARP Michigan – Support Sean Gehle and Autumn Gillard, Trinity Health Michigan – Support Sarah Waun, Michigan State Medical Society – Support McLaren Health Care – Support Christine Shearer, Michigan Association of Health Plans – Support Tim Greimel, AFSCME Council 25 – Support Spectrum Health – Support The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding HB 5414, HB 5415, and HB 5416: Rebecca Mastee, Michigan Catholic Conference – Support The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. MacDonald was excused from the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
