BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7946 FAX: (517) 373-2678 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 3, 2020 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Appropriations was scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., in the Senate Hearing Room of the Boji Tower. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Senate Fiscal Agency Review of the May Consensus Revenue Estimating Conference. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. and due to a lack of a quorum held the committee at ease until 2:05 p.m. At that point, he instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present; Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, MacGregor, Barrett, Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Schmidt, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann, and Bayer, a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Barrett, supported by Sen. Schmidt, to adopt the committee meeting minutes from May 13, 2020. Without objection, the committee meeting minutes were adopted. Next, the Chairman invited Chris Harkins, Director of the Senate Fiscal Agency, to summarize the May Consensus Revenue Estimating Conference. The following Senate Fiscal Agency staff members provided additional information regarding the May Revenue Estimating Conference: David Zin, Senate Fiscal Agency Economist, Steve Angelotti - Associate Director - Human Services Kathryn Summers - Associate Director - K-12 and Economics There being no further business before the committee, the Chairman adjourned the committee at 3:25 p.m. Date Adopted by Committee: 7-22-20 Page 1 of 1
