Gast Appropriations Room. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 5481 (Rep. Farrington) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported HB 5589 (Rep. Hall) with recommendation and immediate effect. 3. Testimony regarding SB 986 (Sen. McBroom). 4. Testimony regarding HB 5602 (Rep. Wakeman). 5. Testimony regarding SB 40 (Sen. Theis). The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, VanderWall, Moss, Polehanki and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to report HB 5481 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, VanderWall, Moss, Polehanki, and Wojno. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for HB 5481. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. VanderWall to report HB 5589 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, and VanderWall. Nays: Sen.(s) Polehanki and Wojno. Pass: Sen.(s) Moss. The motion prevailed and the bill was reported.
