Gast Appropriations Room. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. 2. 3. 4. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Theis, Sen.(s) Lauwers, LaSata, Nesbitt, Daley, Barrett, Horn, Geiss, Bullock and McMorrow, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Lauwers to adopt the meeting minutes from July 29, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. At 9:04 a.m., the Chair recessed the committee. At 9:09 a.m., the Chair reconvened the committee. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Horn to adopt the (S-1) version of HB 4990. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Theis, Sen.(s) Lauwers, LaSata, Nesbitt, Daley, Barrett, Horn, Geiss, Bullock, and McMorrow. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. The Chair made a motion to report the (S-1) version of HB 4990 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Page 1 of 3 Yeas: Chair Theis, Sen.(s) Lauwers, LaSata, Daley, Barrett, and Horn. Nays: Sen.(s) Nesbitt, Bullock, and McMorrow. Pass: Sen.(s) Geiss. The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for HB 4990. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Horn to adopt the (S-1) version of HB 4991. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Theis, Sen.(s) Lauwers, LaSata, Nesbitt, Daley, Barrett, Horn, Geiss, Bullock, and McMorrow. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Horn to report the (S-1) version of HB 4991 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. At 9:18 a.m., the Chair recessed the committee. At 9:51 a.m., the Chair reconvened the committee. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Barrett to adopt the (S-4) version of HB 4459. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Barrett to report the (S-4) version of HB 4459 to the floor with recommendation that it pass.
