The agenda summary is as follows: 1. HB 6159 (Rep. Hauck) failed to be reported from committee. 2. Reported SB 1081 (Sen. Wojno) with recommendation and immediate effect. 3. Reported HB 4958 (S-1) (Rep. Hornberger) with recommendation and immediate effect. 4. Testimony regarding SB 22 (Sen. Zorn). 5. Testimony regarding SB 898 (Sen. Hollier). 6. Testimony regarding HB 4098 (Rep. Frederick). 7. Testimony regarding SB 1036 (Sen. Hertel). The Chair called the meeting to order at 11:03 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair VanderWall, Sen.(s) Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Theis, Brinks, Hertel, Santana, and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bizon to adopt the meeting minutes from October 1, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bizon to report HB 6159 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair VanderWall, Sen.(s) Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, and Theis Nays: Sen.(s) Brinks, Hertel, Santana, and Wojno The motion failed and the bill was not reported. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to report SB 1081 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair VanderWall, Sen.(s) Bizon, LaSata, MacDonald, Theis, Brinks, Hertel, Santana, and Wojno Nays: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. Page 1 of 4 The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for SB 1081. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Wojno to adopt the (S-1) version of HB 4958.
