Gast Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 5570 (Rep. Alexander) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported HB 5553 (Rep. Garza) with recommendation. 3. Reported SB 1119 (Sen. LaSata) with recommendation. 4. Reported HB 5920 (Rep. Peterson) with recommendation. 5. Reported SB 1111 (S-2) (Sen. Johnson) with recommendation. 6. Reported SB 1112 (S-2) (Sen. Alexander) with recommendation. The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:01 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Barrett, Sen.(s) LaSata, McBroom, Victory, Outman, Lauwers, Geiss, Bullock, and Hollier, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Outman to adopt the meeting minutes from September 30, 2020. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Rep. Alexander to summarize HB 5570. The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding HB 5570: Troy Hagon, Michigan Department of Transportation – Neutral The Chair invited Rep. Garza to summarize HB 5553. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding HB 5553: Troy Hagon, Michigan Department of Transportation – Neutral The Chair invited Rep. Peterson to summarize HB 5920. The Chair invited Sen. LaSata to summarize SB 1119. LaSata to adopt the (S-2) version of SB 1111.
