BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7840 FAX: (517) 373-3932 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES January 26, 2021 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Oversight was scheduled for Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., in the Room 403 of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Adoption of the 2021-2022 Committee Rules. 2. Testimony by Mr. Chris Wlaschin, VP of Systems Security and Chief Information Security Officer, Election Systems & Software. 3. Testimony by Mr. Wil Wesley, Director of Michigan Operations, Election Systems & Software. The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:03 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McBroom, Sen.(s) Theis, Bizon and Irwin, a quorum was present. Chair McBroom invited the committee to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Chair McBroom welcomed Sen. Theis as the Committee's new Majority Vice Chair and Sen. Bizon, M.D. as a new member of the Committee. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the 2021-2022 Committee Rules. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McBroom, Sen.(s) Theis, Bizon, and Irwin Nays: None The motion prevailed and the 2021-2022 Committee Rules were adopted. Chair McBroom summarized the days agenda and gave opening comments. Chair McBroom welcomed Mr. Chris Wlaschin, VP of Systems Security and Chief Information Security Officer, Election Systems & Software to the committee. Chair McBroom administered the Oath to Mr. Wlashin. Chair McBroom invited Mr. Wlaschin to give the committee a presentation, under oath, regarding the Election Systems & Software company operations. Member questions and discussion followed. Chair McBroom welcomed Mr. Wil Wesley, Director of Michigan Operations, Election Systems & Software to the committee. Page 1 of 2 Chair McBroom administered the Oath to Mr. Wesley. Chair McBroom invited Mr. Wesley to give the committee a presentation, under oath, regarding the Election Systems & Software company operations. Member questions and discussion followed. There being no further business before the committee, Chair McBroom entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adjourn the committee at 4:00 p.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
