The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported SB 118 (Sen. McBroom) (S-1) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported SB 29 (Sen. Stamas) (S-3) with recommendation. 3. Reported HB 4047 (Rep. Beson) (S-1) with recommendation. 4. Reported SB 114 (Sen. Stamas) (S-2) with recommendation. The Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present; Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Schmidt, Barrett, Bizon, Daley, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann, and Bayer, a quorum was present. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Outman, supported by Sen. Victory, to adopt the committee meeting minutes from February 3rd, 11th, and 17th. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairman invited Sen. McBroom to summarize SB 118 & the (S-1) version before the committee. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Victory, supported by Sen. MacDonald, to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 118 offered by Sen. Stamas. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Schmidt, Barrett, Bizon, Daley, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann, and Bayer Nays: None The (S-1) version was adopted. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Daley, supported by Sen. Victory, to report SB 118 (S-1) to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chairman Stamas, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Schmidt, Barrett, Bizon, Daley, LaSata, MacDonald, Nesbitt, Outman, Runestad, Victory, Hertel, Hollier, Irwin, Santana, McCann, and Bayer Nays: None The bill was reported. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Runestad, supported by Sen. Schmidt, to recommend immediate effect for SB 118 (S-1). Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. Next, the Chairman invited Kathryn Summers of the Senate Fiscal Agency to help summarize SB 29 and the (S-3) version for committee members. Page 1 of 3 The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Daley, supported by Sen. Schmidt, to report SB 29 (S-3) to the floor with recommendation that it pass. Next, The Chairman invited Christopher Harkins and Steve Angelotti to help summarize HB 4047, SB 114 and their substitutes for the committee. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Victory, supported by Sen. LaSata, to report HB 4047 (S-1) to the floor with recommendation that it pass. Next, the Chairman invited Sen. Barrett to summarize his amendment #1 to the (S-1) version of SB 114. The Chairman entertained a motion by Sen. Barrett, supported by Sen. Daley, to adopt amendment #1 offered by Sen. Barrett.
