BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7840 FAX: (517) 373-3932 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 10, 2021 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources was scheduled for Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 9:15 a.m., in Room 403 of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follow: 1. Reported SB 209 (Sen. McBroom) with recommendation. 2. Reported SB 210 (Sen. McBroom) with recommendation. 3. Reported SB 211 (Sen. McBroom) with recommendation. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:15 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McBroom, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Outman, Schmidt and McCann, a quorum was present. The Chair invited the committee to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Outman to adopt the meeting minutes from March 3, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair summarized SB's 209-211 for the committee. Member questions followed. The Chair recessed the committee from 9:20 a.m. to 9:22 a.m. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bumstead to report SB 209 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McBroom, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Outman, and Schmidt Nays: Sen. McCann The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Outman to report SB 210 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McBroom, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Outman, and Schmidt Nays: None Pass: Sen. McCann The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bumstead to report SB 211 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McBroom, Sen.(s) Bumstead, Outman, and Schmidt Nays: None Pass: Sen. McCann The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Schmidt to adjourn the committee.
