The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 429 (Sen. Ananich). 2. Testimony regarding SB 430 (Sen. Ananich). 3. Testimony regarding SB 431 (Sen. Ananich). The Chair called the meeting to order at 11:17 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Barrett, Sen.(s) LaSata, McBroom, Victory, Outman, Lauwers, Geiss, and Bullock, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. Hollier was excused from the meeting. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to adopt the meeting minutes from April 21, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Sen. Ananich to summarize SB 429, SB 430, and SB 431. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 429, SB 430 and SB 431: Judy Allen, Michigan Townships Association – Oppose Rich Studley, Michigan Chamber – Support Sen.
