Gast Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 303 (Sen. Barrett). 2. Testimony regarding SB 285 (S-1) (Sen. Theis). 3. Testimony regarding SB 307 (Sen. Theis). 4. Testimony regarding SB 304 (Sen. VanderWall). 5. Testimony regarding SB 310 (S-1) (Sen. Johnson). 6. Testimony regarding SB 284 (Sen. Lauwers). 7. Testimony regarding SB 289 (Sen. Nesbitt). The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:04 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, VanderWall, and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to adopt the meeting minutes from May 19, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Sen. Barrett to summarize SB 303. The Chair offered an (S-1) version of SB 285. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 285. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, VanderWall, and Wojno Nays: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. The Chair invited Meghan Reckling, of Sen. Theis' office, to summarize SB 285, the (S-1) version of SB 285, and SB 307. The Chair invited Sen. VanderWall to summarize SB 304. Page 1 of 4 The Chair offered an (S-1) version of SB 310. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 310. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, VanderWall, and Wojno Nays: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. The Chair summarized SB 310 and the (S-1) version of SB 310. The Chair invited Sen. McBroom to summarize SB 284 and SB 289.
