BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-1777 FAX: (517) 373-5871 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 10, 2021 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Agriculture was scheduled for Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 8:15 a.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding HB 4603 (Rep. Bellino). The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:15 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Daley, Sen.(s) Victory, Lauwers, Polehanki and Brinks, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Victory to adopt the meeting minutes from May 13, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding HB 4603: Angel Jenio and Scott Miller, Michigan Corn – No Position The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding HB 4603: Mike Frederick, Michigan Soybean Association – Support Tony DesChenes, Potato Growers of Michigan – Support George Quackenbush, Michigan Cattlemen's Association – Support Greg Bird, Michigan Onion Commission – Support There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
