BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-1636 FAX: (517) 373-1453 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 23, 2021 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Elections was scheduled for Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 130 (Sen. Nesbitt) 2. Testimony regarding SB 131 (Sen. Wojno). 3. Testimony regarding SB 132 (Sen. Nesbitt). 4. Testimony regarding SB 133 (Sen. Wojno). 5. Testimony regarding HB 4530 (Rep. Calley). 6. Testimony regarding HB 4531 (Rep. Filler). 7. Testimony regarding HB 4532 (Rep. Whitsett). 8. The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:04 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, VanderWall, and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to adopt the meeting minutes from June 16, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Sen. Runestad to summarize SB 22 and SB 23. The Chair invited Ryan Studley, of Sen. Nesbitt's office, to summarize SB 130 and SB 132. The Chair invited Sen. Wojno to summarize SB 131 and SB 133. The Chair invited Thye Fischman, of Rep. Calley's office, and Emily Eggenberger, of Rep. Whitsett's office, to summarize HB 4530 - HB 4533.
