The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding HB 4282 (Rep. Calley). 2. Testimony regarding HB 4283 (Rep. Sabo). 3. Testimony regarding HB 4284 (Rep. Koleszar). 4. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, VanderWall, and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to adopt the meeting minutes from September 1, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. At 2:04 p.m., the Chair recessed the committee. At 2:13 p.m., the Chair reconvened the committee. The Chair invited Rep.(s) Green and Lightner to summarize HB 4837 and HB 4838. The Chair invited Rep.(s) Sabo and Bollin to summarize HB 4282 – HB 4285. The Chair invited Rep. S. Johnson to summarize HB 4305. The Chair invited Rep. Bollin to summarize HB 4492. Page 1 of 3 The Chair offered, and summarized, a Johnson amendment to HB 4492. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to adopt the Johnson amendment to HB 4492. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, VanderWall, and Wojno Nays: None The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted. The Chair invited Rep. Posthumus to summarize HB 4528. The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for HB 4838. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. McBroom to report HB 4492, as amended, as a clean substitute, to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Johnson, Sen.(s) McBroom, VanderWall, and Wojno Nays: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for HB 4492. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
