The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 4557 (S-1) (Rep. Wendzel) with recommendation. 2. Reported HB 4558 (Rep. Glenn) with recommendation. 3. Reported HB 4559 (Rep. Fink) with recommendation. 4. Reported HB 4560 (Rep. Griffin) with recommendation. 5. Reported HB 4561 (Rep. Roth) with recommendation. 6. Reported HB 4780 (Rep. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, Zorn, Moss, Polehanki and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. VanderWall was excused from the meeting. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the meeting minutes from September 28, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding HB 4557 and HB 4561: Mason Doerr, Michigan Licensed Beverage Association – Support Page 1 of 3 The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding HB 4561: Ashley Steffen, Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development – Opposition The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the (S-1) version of HB 4557. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, Zorn, Moss, Polehanki, and Wojno. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to report the (S-1) version of HB 4557 to the floor with recommendation that it pass.
