The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 4693 (Rep. Johnson) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported HB 5294 (Rep. Lightner) with recommendation and immediate effect. 3. Reported SB 632 (S-1) (Sen. Irwin) with recommendation. 4. Reported HB 5449 (S-1) (Rep. Clements) with recommendation and immediate effect. 5. Reported HB 4256 (Rep. Brann) with recommendation. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:03 p.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, VanderWall, Zorn, Huizenga, Moss, Polehanki and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the meeting minutes from January 25, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Lauwers to report HB 4693 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, VanderWall, Zorn, Huizenga, Moss, Polehanki, and Wojno. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for HB 4693. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to report HB 5294 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, VanderWall, Zorn, Huizenga, Moss, Polehanki, and Wojno. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 632. Huizenga to report HB 4256 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
