BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-1777 FAX: (517) 373-5871 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 10, 2022 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Agriculture was scheduled for Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 8:30 a.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation by the Fair Food Network 2. Presentation by the Michigan Corn Gowers Association 3. Presentation by the Michigan Soybean Committee The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Daley, Sen.(s) Victory, Lauwers, Polehanki and Brinks, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Lauwers to adopt the meeting minutes from June 17, 2021. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chairman invited Kate Krause, Chief Operating Officer with the Fair Food Network for a presentation. The Chair invited Jim Zook, President of the Michigan Corn Growers Association for a presentation. The Chair invited Jana Fritz, Chief Executive Officer with the Michigan Soybean Committee for a presentation. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
