The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Office of the Auditor General, Performance Audit Report, Office of Educator Excellence, Michigan Department of Education, March 2021, #313-0140-18. 2. Office of the Auditor General, Performance Audit Report, Virtual Learning in Cyber Schools, Michigan Department of Education, September 2021, #313-0225-18. The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:03 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McBroom, Sen.(s) Theis, Bizon, Wozniak, Irwin and Chang, a quorum was present. The Chair invited the committee to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the meeting minutes from February 8, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals from the Office of the Auditor General to give the committee a presentation regarding the Performance Audit Report, Office of Educator Excellence, Michigan Department of Education, March 2021, #313-0140-18: Yvonne Benn, Audit Division Administrator Leah Decker, Audit Manager, Via Zoom Member questions and discussion followed. The Chair invited the following individuals from the Michigan Department of Education to give the committee a presentation regarding the OAG Performance Audit Report, Office of Educator Excellence, Michigan Department of Education, March 2021, #313-0140-18: Kyle Guerrant, Deputy Superintendent for Finance and Operations Dr Delsa Chapman, Deputy Superintendent, Division of Educator, Student and School Supports Leah Breen, Director, Office of Educator Excellence Member questions and discussion followed.
