The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 4939 (S-2) (Rep. Damoose) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported HB 4940 (S-2) (Rep. Tate) with recommendation and immediate effect. 3. Reported SB 195 (S-1) (Sen. Nesbitt) with recommendation and immediate effect. 4. Reported SB 727 (Sen. Zorn) with recommendation and immediate effect. 5. Testimony regarding SB 697 (Sen. LaSata). 6. Testimony regarding SB 852 (Sen. Runestad). 7. Testimony regarding SB 853 (Sen. Chang). The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:35 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. Daley to adopt the meeting minutes from February 9, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair brought up HB 4939 and offered amendment #1 to the bill. The cards were read of those individuals not wishing to present testimony regarding HB's 4939 – 4940: John Lindley, Michigan Association of RV's and Campgrounds The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Daley to adopt amendment #1 to HB 4939. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Runestad, Sen.(s) Daley, Bumstead, VanderWall, Chang and Alexander Nays: None The motion prevailed and the amendment was adopted. Sen. Chang offered amendment #2 to HB 4939 and summarized the amendment. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Chang to adopt amendment #2 to HB 4939. Alexander Pass: Sen. Chang The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen.
