- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON AGRICULTURE REP. JERRY NEYER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, February 26, 2026 10:30 AM Room 308, House Office Building The House Committee on Agriculture was called to order by Chair Neyer. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Neyer, Wortz, Lightner, Alexander, Fox, Kunse, Pavlov, Dievendorf, Rheingans and Skaggs. Absent: Rep. Paiz. Excused: Rep. Paiz. Representative Alexander moved to adopt the meeting minutes from December 11, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The chair laid a presentation on the USDA Farm Service Agency before the committee. Joel Johnson and David Russ, representing the USDA Farm Service Agency, gave a presentation on the wide range of services the USDA offers to farms. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Kunse moved to excuse Representative Paiz from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
