The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Schuette, Aragona, Wendzel, Martin, Posthumus, DeBoer, Witwer, Liberati and Herzberg. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative DeBoer moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 19, 2026. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5343 before the committee: HB 5343 (Rep. Aragona) A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled "Michigan liquor control code of 1998," by amending section 109 (MCL 436.1109), as amended by 2021 PA 19. Representative Aragona testified in support of HB 5343. Questions and discussions followed. Representative Aragona moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 5343.
