The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 4674 (Rep. Kahle) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported HB 4675 (Rep. Slagh) with recommendation and immediate effect. The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:32 a.m. A quorum was not present. The Chair brought up HB's 4674-4675, and invited Karli Zubek, of Rep. Kahle's office, and Eric Dean, of Rep. Slagh's to summarize the bills. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Victory, Sen.(s) VanderWall, Barrett, Johnson, Runestad, Wozniak and Chang, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. VanderWall to adopt the meeting minutes from April 14, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. VanderWall to report HB 4674 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Victory, Sen.(s) VanderWall, Barrett, Wozniak and Chang Nays: Sen. Runestad Pass: Sen. Johnson The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair moved to recommend immediate effect for HB 4674. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Chang to report HB 4675 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Victory, Sen.(s) VanderWall, Barrett, Wozniak and Chang Nays: Sen.(s) Runestad and Johnson The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair moved to recommend immediate effect for HB 4675. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair moved to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. Irwin was excused from the meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
