The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported SB 1035 (Sen. Huizenga) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported HB 4030 (Rep. Hoitenga) with recommendation. 3. Reported HB 4498 (Rep. Paquette) with recommendation. 4. Reported HB 5695 (Rep. Wendzel) with recommendation and immediate effect. 5. Reported HB 5696 (Rep. Young) with recommendation and immediate effect. 6. Reported HB 5726 (Rep. Outman) with recommendation and immediate effect. 7. Reported HB 4494 (Rep. Slagh) with recommendation and immediate effect. 8. Reported HB 4495 (Rep. Slagh) with recommendation and immediate effect. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, VanderWall, Zorn, Huizenga, Moss and Wojno, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. Polehanki was excused from the meeting. The Chair made a motion to adopt the meeting minutes from May 17, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to report SB 1035 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, VanderWall, Zorn, Huizenga, Moss, and Wojno. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. Page 1 of 3 The Chair made a motion to recommend immediate effect for SB 1035. Without objection, immediate effect was recommended. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to report HB 4030 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Nesbitt, Sen.(s) Theis, Johnson, Lauwers, VanderWall, Zorn, and Huizenga. Nays: Sen.(s) Moss and Wojno. The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to report HB 4498 to the floor with recommendation that it pass.
