BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7946 FAX: (517) 373-2678 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES September 20, 2022 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Senate Fiscal Agency Governing Board was scheduled for Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 9:45 a.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:45 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Stamas, Sen.(s) Shirkey, Bumstead and Ananich, a quorum was present. Senator Hertel was excused. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Ananich, supported by Sen. Bumstead, to adopt the meeting minutes from February 10, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. Kathryn Summers, SFA Director, provided a review of SFA Pay Schedule and Matrix, One-Time Adjustments, Approval of Certain Contracts, and an update on FY 2021-22 and FY 2022-23 SFA Budgets. Senator Shirkey moved, and Senator Stamas supported, the approval of the FY 2022-23 SFA Pay Schedule and Matrix. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Stamas, Sen.(s) Shirkey, Bumstead, and Ananich. Nays: None The motion prevailed. Senator Bumstead moved, and Senator Shirkey approved, the approval of FY 2021-22 lump-sum, one-time adjustments for SFA staff. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Stamas, Sen.(s) Shirkey, Bumstead, and Ananich. Nays: None The motion prevailed. Senator Shirkey moved, and Senator Stamas supported, the approval of contracts over $5,000. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Stamas, Sen.(s) Shirkey, Bumstead, and Ananich. Nays: None The motion prevailed. Page 1 of 2 There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion, supported by Sen.
