The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Theis to adopt the meeting minutes from June 14, 2022. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding HB 5623: Matas Blekys, Rep. John DaMoose – Support The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding HB 5623: Page 1 of 4 Steven Betz, Lake Superior State University – Support David Marvin, Michigan Liquor Control Commission – Neutral The Chair made a motion to report HB 5623 to the floor with recommendation that it pass.
