BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7800 FAX: (517) 373-9310 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES January 31, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure was scheduled for Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., in the Senate Hearing Room of the Boji Tower. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation by the Michigan Department of Transportation. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:31 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Geiss, Sen.(s) Klinefelt, Wojno, Hertel, Camilleri, Chang, McCann, Bellino, Victory, Bumstead, and McBroom, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Klinefelt to adopt the meeting minutes from January 24, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Troy Hagon, Director of Governmental Affairs and the State Transportation Adviser, Gregg Brunner, Acting Chief Engineer and Operating Officer, and Laura Mester, Chief Administrative Officer, from the Michigan Department of Transportation, to give a presentation regarding the Department and its duties. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
