BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-6960 FAX: (517) 373-0897 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 1, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Appropriations was scheduled for Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., in the Harry T. Gast Senate Appropriations Room. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Adopted the 2023-2024 Appropriations Committee Rules. The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:00pm. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Anthony, Sen.(s) McCann, McDonald Rivet, Cherry, Bayer, Santana, Shink, Irwin, Hertel, Camilleri, Klinefelt, McMorrow, Cavanagh, Bumstead, Albert, Damoose, Huizenga, Outman and Theis, a quorum was present. The Chair made a brief statement welcoming member to the Senate Committee on Appropriations. Next, the Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Damoose to adopt the committee rules. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Anthony, Sen.(s) McCann, McDonald Rivet, Cherry, Bayer, Santana, Shink, Irwin, Hertel, Camilleri, Klinefelt, McMorrow, Cavanagh, Bumstead, Albert, Damoose, Huizenga, Outman, and Theis. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the rules were adopted. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Shink, supported by Sen. Cavanagh, to adjourn the committee at 2:10 p.m.Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Approved: 2-28-23 Page 1 of 1
