- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON OVERSIGHT REP. JAY DEBOYER CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Tuesday, March 10, 2026 9:00 AM Room 352, State Capitol Building The House Committee on Oversight was called to order by Chair DeBoyer. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. DeBoyer, Bierlein, Meerman, Paquette, Carra, Bruck, Jaime Greene, Rigas, Schriver, Woolford, Miller, Pohutsky, Conlin, MacDonell, Mentzer and Tsernoglou. Absent: Rep. Wegela. Excused: Rep. Wegela. Representative Bruck moved to adopt the meeting minutes from February 24, 2026. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid before the committee a Report on Michigan Food Stamps. Representative Woolford gave a report on Michigan Food Stamps. Questions and discussion followed. Scott Centorino, a Visiting Fellow representing The Foundation for Government Accountability Action, provided testimony on Michigan Food Stamps. Questions and discussion followed. Representative Rigas moved to excuse Representative Wegela from the meeting. There being no objection the motion prevailed by unanimous consent.
