BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7800 FAX: (517) 373-9310 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 28, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure was scheduled for Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., in the 403 Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Presentation from the County Road Association of Michigan. 2. Presentation from the Michigan Municipal League. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:32 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Geiss, Sen.(s) Klinefelt, Wojno, Hertel, Camilleri, Chang, McCann, McBroom, Victory, Bumstead, and Bellino, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Victory to adopt the meeting minutes from February 21, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Ed Noyola and Denise Donohue, of the County Road Association of Michigan, to give a presentation regarding a 2023 view of local road funding. The Chair invited John LaMacchia, of the Michigan Municipal League, to give a presentation regarding an overview of the League. Due to time constraints, Judy Allen, of the Michigan Townships Association, was unable to give a presentation regarding an overview of the Association. The Chair invited her back to present at a future meeting. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
