BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7748 FAX: (517) 373-1387 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES March 8, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Finance, Insurance, and Consumer Protection was scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 12:30 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 127 (Sen. Singh) and SB 128 (Sen. Damoose). The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:03 p.m.. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cavanagh, Sen.(s) Moss, McCann, Bayer, Irwin, Huizenga, Theis and Daley, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bayer to adopt the meeting minutes from March 1, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SB 127 and SB 128: Sen. Sam Singh and Sen.
