BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7800 FAX: (517) 373-9310 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES April 11, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure was scheduled for Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 3:30 p.m., in the 403 Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 124 (S-1) (Sen. Camilleri). 2. Testimony regarding SB 125 (S-1) (Sen. Camilleri). 3. Testimony regarding SB 100 (Sen. Geiss). 4. Testimony regarding SB 139 (Sen. Geiss). The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:31 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Geiss, Sen.(s) Klinefelt, Wojno, Hertel, Camilleri, McCann, Bellino, Victory, and Bumstead, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Klinefelt to adopt the meeting minutes from March 21, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. Sen. Camilleri offered (S-1) versions of SB 124 and SB 125. The Chair invited Sen. Camilleri to summarize the changes in the (S-1) versions of SB 124 and SB 125. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Camilleri to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 124. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Geiss, Sen.(s) Klinefelt, Wojno, Hertel, Camilleri, McCann, Bellino, Victory, and Bumstead Nays: None The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. At 3:33 p.m., Sen. Chang entered the meeting. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Camilleri to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 125. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Geiss, Sen.(s) Klinefelt, Wojno, Hertel, Camilleri, Chang, McCann, Bellino, Victory, and Bumstead Nays: None Page 1 of 3 The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. At 3:34 p.m., Sen. McBroom entered the meeting. The Chair invited Sen. Camilleri to summarize SB 124 and SB 125.
