BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-1801 FAX: (517) 373-5801 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES May 16, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Government Operations was scheduled for Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 12:30 p.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. Adopted the committee rules. The Chair called the meeting to order. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Brinks, Sen.(s) Singh, Moss, Nesbitt and Lauwers, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Singh, supported by Sen. Moss, to adopt the committee rules. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Brinks, Sen.(s) Singh, Moss, Nesbitt, and Lauwers. Nays: None The motion prevailed. The following individuals submitted testimony to the committee: - John Lauve There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
