BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-2406 FAX: (517) 373-5679 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 6, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Housing and Human Services was scheduled for Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 12:00 noon, in the 403 Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 348 (Sen. McMorrow). 2. Testimony regarding SB 349 (Sen. McMorrow). The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:03 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Irwin, Sen.(s) Santana, Cavanagh, Bayer, Shink, Chang, Cherry, Geiss, Lindsey, Hoitenga, and Damoose, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Santana to adopt the meeting minutes from May 16, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Sen. McMorrow and Rep.(s) Brabec and Hoskins to summarize SB 348 and SB 349.
