The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported SB 31 (S-2) (Sen. Cherry) with recommendation. 2. Testimony regarding SB 356 (Sen. Hertel). 3. Testimony regarding SB 357 (Sen. Cavanagh). 4. Testimony regarding SB 358 (Sen. Klinefelt). 5. Testimony regarding HB 4362 (Rep. Brabec). 6. Testimony regarding HB 4363 (Rep. Neeley). 7. Testimony regarding HB 4364 (Rep. Price). The Chair called the meeting to order at 12:32 p.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Hertel, Sen.(s) Santana, Wojno, Cherry, Klinefelt, Geiss, Webber, Hauck, Huizenga, and Runestad, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Klinefelt to adopt the meeting minutes from May 24, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. Sen. Cherry offered an (S-2) version of SB 31. The Chair invited Sen. Cherry to summarize the (S-2) version of SB 31. Cherry to adopt the (S-2) version of SB 31. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Hertel, Sen.(s) Santana, Wojno, Cherry, Klinefelt, Geiss, Webber, Hauck, and Huizenga Nays: None Pass: Sen. Runestad The motion prevailed and the (S-2) was adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Cherry to report the (S-2) version of SB 31 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Hertel, Sen.(s) Santana, Wojno, Cherry, Klinefelt, Geiss, Webber, Hauck, and Huizenga Nays: None Pass: Sen. Runestad The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. The Chair summarized SB 356. The Chair invited Sen.(s) Cavanagh and Klinefelt to summarize SB 357 and SB 358.
