BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-2406 FAX: (517) 373-5679 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 13, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Housing and Human Services was scheduled for Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., in the 403 Room of the Capitol Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported SB 205 (Sen. Cavanagh) with recommendation. 2. Reported SB 206 (Sen. Bayer) with recommendation. 3. Reported SB 207 (Sen. Irwin) with recommendation. 4. Reported SB 348 (Sen. McMorrow) with recommendation. 5. Reported SB 349 (Sen. McMorrow) with recommendation. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:37 a.m. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Irwin, Sen.(s) Santana, Cavanagh, Bayer, Shink, Chang, Geiss, Lindsey, Hoitenga, and Damoose, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Santana to adopt the meeting minutes from June 6, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair made a motion to excuse absent members from the meeting. Without objection, Sen. Cherry was excused from the meeting. Cavanagh to report SB 205 to the floor with recommendation that it pass.
