ARAGONA CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, March 19, 2026 9:00 AM Room 519, House Office Building The House Committee on Regulatory Reform was called to order by Chair Aragona. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Aragona, Fairbairn, Wozniak, Wendzel, Tisdel, Hoadley, Neyer, Rigas, Thompson, Linting, Tyrone Carter, Witwer, Neeley and Grant. Absent: Reps. Liberati, Whitsett and Dievendorf. Excused: Reps. Liberati, Whitsett and Dievendorf. Representative Rigas moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 12, 2026. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 5368, HB 5369, HB 5370, HB 5371 and HB 5372 before the committee: HB 5368 (Rep. Wortz) A bill to amend 1915 PA 31, entitled "Youth tobacco act," (MCL 722.641 to 722.645) by adding section 1p. HB 5369 (Rep. Wortz) A bill to amend 1915 PA 31, entitled "Youth tobacco act," (MCL 722.641 to 722.645) by adding section 1m. HB 5370 (Rep. Slagh) A bill to amend 1915 PA 31, entitled "Youth tobacco act," by amending the title and sections 1, 4, and 5 (MCL 722.641, 722.644, and 722.645), the title as amended by 2019 PA 18, sections 1 and 4 as amended by 2022 PA 167, and section 5 as added by 1988 PA 314, and by adding sections 1a, 1c, 1e, 1g, 1i, 1k, and 1o. Scott) A bill to amend 1971 PA 79, entitled "Age of majority act of 1971," by amending sections 2 and 3 (MCL 722.52 and 722.53), section 2 as amended by 1990 PA 104 and section 3 as amended by 2022 PA 170.
