BILL SCHUETTE CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Thursday, March 19, 2026 10:30 AM Room 428, State Capitol Building The House Committee on Rules was called to order by Chair Schuette. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Schuette, Aragona, Wendzel, Martin, Posthumus, DeBoer and Witwer. Absent: Reps. Liberati and Herzberg. Excused: Reps. Liberati and Herzberg. Representative DeBoer moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 12, 2026. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. The Chair laid HB 4901 before the committee: HB 4901 (Rep. Thompson) A bill to amend 1978 PA 368, entitled "Public health code," by amending sections 17211 and 17603 (MCL 333.17211 and 333.17603), section 17211 as amended by 2017 PA 22 and section 17603 as added by 2008 PA 524.
