BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7748 FAX: (517) 373-1387 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES October 11, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Finance, Insurance, and Consumer Protection was scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., in the 1200 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SB 530 (Sen. Cavanagh) and SB 531 (Sen. Anthony). The Chair called the meeting to order at 1:03 p.m.. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cavanagh, Sen.(s) Moss, McCann, Bayer, Irwin, Huizenga, Theis and Daley, a quorum was present. At 1:04 p.m., the Chair recessed the committee. At 1:08 p.m., the Chair reconvened the committee. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Bayer to adopt the meeting minutes from October 4, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted.
