BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-2426 FAX: (517) 373-2964 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES October 17, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Agriculture was scheduled for Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding SCR 11 (Sen. Shink). The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:10 p.m.. Sh e instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Shink, Sen.(s) Cherry, Singh, Polehanki, Daley, Victory and Hoitenga, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Cherry to adopt the meeting minutes from October 10, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. Chair Shink summarized SCR 11. Member questions followed. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding SCR 11: Kelly Thayer, Keep U.P.
