The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported SB 579 (S-1) (Sen. Singh) with recommendation. 2. Reported SB 580 (S-1) (Sen. Cavanagh) with recommendation. 3. Reported SB 581 (S-1) (Sen. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair McMorrow, Sen.(s) Cavanagh, Polehanki, Cherry, McDonald Rivet, Moss, Geiss, Victory, Lindsey and Webber, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Cavanagh to adopt the meeting minutes from October 19, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Cavanagh to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 579. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair McMorrow, Sen.(s) Cavanagh, Polehanki, Cherry, McDonald Rivet, Moss, Geiss, Victory, and Webber. Nays: None Pass: Sen.(s) Lindsey. The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Cavanagh to report the (S-1) version of SB 579 to the floor with recommendation that it pass.
