BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-0142 FAX: (517) 373-3938 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES November 2, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Labor was scheduled for Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., in the 1300 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:32 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Cherry, Sen.(s) Camilleri, Cavanagh and Albert, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Camilleri to adopt the meeting minutes from October 12, 2023 and October 26, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Cavanagh to report HB 4082 to the floor with recommendation that it pass. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Cherry, Sen.(s) Camilleri, Cavanagh, and Albert. Nays: None The motion prevailed and the bill was reported. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
