BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-6960 FAX: (517) 373-0897 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES November 8, 2023 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Appropriations was scheduled for Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room of the Capitol Building. 1) Adopted Legislative Transfer Request 2023-8. 2) Adopted Legislative Transfer Request 2024-1. Due to Senate Session, the Chair called the meeting to order at 1:45 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Anthony, Sen.(s) McCann, McDonald Rivet, Cherry, Bayer, Santana, Shink, Irwin, Hertel, Cavanagh, Klinefelt, McMorrow, Camilleri, Bumstead, Albert, Damoose, Huizenga, Outman and Theis, a quorum was present. The Chair moved, supported by Sen. Shink, to adopt the meeting minutes from October 4, 2023. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair brought up invited Corey Savino, of the Senate Fiscal Agency, to summarize Legislative Transfer Requests 2023-8 & 2024-1 for the committee. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Klinfelt, supported by Sen. Shink, to adopt the Legislative Transfer Requests 2023-8 & 2024-1. The vote was as follows: Yeas: Chair Anthony, Sen.(s) McCann, McDonald Rivet, Cherry, Bayer, Santana, Shink, Irwin, Hertel, Cavanagh, Klinefelt, McMorrow, Camilleri, Damoose, and Huizinga Nays: Sen.(s) Bumstead, Albert, Outman, and Theis. The motion prevailed and the Legislative Transfer Requests were adopted. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Albert, supported by Sen.
