BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7888 FAX: (517) 373-2983 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES May 15, 2024 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Regulatory Affairs was scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., in the 1100 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Testimony regarding HB 4603 (Rep. Liberati). The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:04 a.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Polehanki, McCann, Wojno, Santana, Hertel, Hauck, Webber, Lauwers and Bellino, a quorum was present. The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Polehanki to adopt the meeting minutes from May 8, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Representative Liberati to summarize House Bill 4603. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding HB 4603: Michael Livendale, Design-Build Institute of America – Support The Chair read the cards of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding HB 4603: Mark Titus, PSI – Support Pat Kreger, Retired Superintendent Union City – Support MaryAnne McMahon, Retired Superintendent Indianapolis – Support Dr. Paul Kaiser, Superintendent Westfiled Schools – Support William Miller, Operating Engineers Local 324 – Support There being no further business before the committee, the Chair moved to adjourn the committee.
