- HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE REP. PAT OUTMAN CHAIR COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure was called to order by Chair Outman. The Chair requested attendance to be called: Present: Reps. Outman, Alexander, Carra, Bruck, Kunse, Neyer, Prestin, Bohnak, Frisbie, Wortz, Herzberg, Hope, Koleszar, Andrews, Grant, Miller and Wilson. Absent: None. Excused: None. Representative Alexander moved to adopt the meeting minutes from March 04, 2025. There being no objection, the motion prevailed with unanimous consent. Chair Outman laid before the committee a presentation from the Michigan Department of Transportation. Brad Wieferich, Director of the Michigan Department of Transportation, gave a presentation to the committee. Questions and discussion followed. The Chair laid HB 4180, HB 4181, HB 4182, HB 4183, HB 4184, HB 4185, HB 4186 and HB 4187 before the committee: Tuesday, March 11, 2025 Noon. Room 519, House Office Building HB 4180 (Rep. Steele) A bill to amend 1933 PA 167, entitled "General sales tax act," by amending sections 6a and 6c (MCL 205.56a and 205.56c), section 6a as amended by 2015 PA 264 and section 6c as added by 2015 PA 262, and by adding sections 4gg and 4hh. HB 4181 (Rep. Frisbie) A bill to amend 2004 PA 175, entitled "Streamlined sales and use tax revenue equalization act," by amending sections 3 and 5 (MCL 205.173 and 205.175), section 3 as amended by 2015 PA 177 and section 5 as amended by 2022 PA 24. HB 4182 (Rep. Slagh) A bill to amend 1937 PA 94, entitled "Use tax act," by amending sections 6c and 21 (MCL Representative Alexander moved to adopt substitute (H-1) to HB 4183. Carra) A bill to amend 2007 PA 36, entitled "Michigan business tax act," by amending sections 201 and 500 (MCL 208.1201 and 208.1500), section 201 as amended by 2012 PA 605 and section 500 as amended by 2019 PA 90. Outman) A bill to amend 1967 PA 281, entitled "Income tax act of 1967," by amending sections 623 and 695 (MCL 206.623 and 206.695), section 623 as amended by 2021 PA 135 and section 695 as amended by 2023 PA 4.
