BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-6960 FAX: (517) 373-0897 **DRAFT** COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES June 12, 2024 A meeting of the Senate Committee on Appropriations was scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., in the Harry T. Gast Appropriations Room. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Overview of Legislative Transfer Request 2024-7. The Chair called the meeting to order at 3:04 p.m. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Anthony, Sen.(s) McCann, McDonald Rivet, Cherry, Bayer, Santana, Shink, Irwin, Hertel, Camilleri, Klinefelt, McMorrow, Cavanagh, Bumstead, Albert, Damoose, Huizenga, Outman, and Theis, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Irwin, to adopt the meeting minutes from May 22, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Corey Savino, of the Senate Fiscal Agency, to provide an overview of Legislative Transfer Request 2024-7. Next, the Chair invited the following individuals to provide a review of Legislative Transfer Request 2024-7: Tyler Rossmaessler, Executive Director, Flint & Genesee Economic Alliance Josh Hundt, Senior Project Marketing Advisor, MEDC Christin Armstrong, Senior Vice President of Business Development & Execution, MEDC The following cards were turned in of those individuals not wishing to testify before the committee regarding Legislative Transfer Request 2024-7: Hillary Kipp, Consumers Energy – Support Brian Shoaf, Detroit Regional Chamber – Support Page 1 of 2 There being no further business before the committee, the Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Hertel, supported by Sen. McDonald Rivet, to adjourn the committee at 3:46 p.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned. Page 2 of 2
