Gast Senate Appropriations Room. The agenda summary is as follows: 1. Reported HB 5600 (Rep. Rheingans) with recommendation and immediate effect. 2. Reported SB 406 (S-1) (Sen. Anthony) with recommendation and immediate effect. 3. Reported SB 406 (S-1) (Sen. Cavanagh) with recommendation and immediate effect. 4. Adopted Legislative Transfer Request 2024-8. 5. Adopted Legislative Transfer Request 2024-11. The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:08 pm. She instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Anthony, Sen.(s) McCann, Cherry, Bayer, Santana, Shink, Irwin, Hertel, Cavanagh, Klinefelt, McMorrow, Camilleri, Bumstead, Albert, Damoose, Huizenga, Outman and Theis, a quorum was present. The Chair made a motion, supported by Sen. Santana, to adopt the meeting minutes from October 16, 2024. Without objection, the minutes were adopted. The Chair invited Ryan Bartholomew of Rep. Rheingans office to summarize HB 5600 for the committee. The Chair invited the following individual to present testimony regarding HB 5600: Kyle Zawacki, ACLU of Michigan - Support The following individuals turned in cards regarding HB 5600: Mike McCoy, Sault Ste.
