BOX 30036 LANSING, MICHIGAN 48909-7536 PHONE: (517) 373-7315 DRAFT COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES February 25, 2025 A meeting of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Appropriations Subcommittee on Military, Veterans, State Police was scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in the Rooms 402 / 403 of the 4th Floor The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:03 a.m. The Chair instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the following members were present: Chair Hertel and Sen. Klinefelt. A quorum was present. At 9:18 a.m., Member Theis entered the meeting. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Executive Budget Recommendation for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs : Major General Paul D. Rogers, Adjutant General and Director of DMVA. The Chair invited the following individuals to present testimony regarding the Executive Budget Recommendation for the Department of State Police : Col. James F. Grady II, Director of MSP. There being no further business before the committee, the Chair made a motion to adjourn the committee at 9:58a.m. Without objection, the committee was adjourned.
